Thrv needed a way to rapidly validate ideas, launch scalable MVPs, and replicate success across multiple portfolio companies. With PE sponsors watching timelines closely and founders needing real solutions the pressure was high. The existing process was too slow, too manual, and not built to scale across a growing portfolio. They required a partner who could move fast, integrate AI responsibly, and build systems ready for spin-off growth. The platform had to support real-time planning, translate customer goals into actionable task plans, and lay the foundation for repeatable product delivery — without starting from scratch each time a new company joined the portfolio.

We architected a flexible, AI-powered platform designed to support rapid validation, execution, and repeatable delivery across Thrv’s portfolio. Working directly with Thrv’s founders and CTO Alex Gounares, we embedded alongside the team to accelerate development timelines and ensure the system aligned with real-world operating constraints from day one. At the core of the platform, AI agents translate customer goals into structured task plans and visual JTBD maps, enabling founders to move from idea to execution with clarity and speed. A modular repository system supports multi-product scaling, allowing each new portfolio company to build on a shared foundation rather than starting from scratch. Embedded integrations handle automation, analytics, and user feedback, reducing the need for custom development and enabling faster iteration cycles. We designed the system to operate as a repeatable engine for product delivery across the portfolio. We continue to support Thrv as an ongoing advisor and hiring partner, extending the platform’s impact beyond the initial build and enabling sustained execution as new investments are brought online.
The impact
We reduced MVP validation timelines from six months to under two while enabling Thrv to rapidly launch and scale products across multiple portfolio companies. By embedding AI into core workflows, we increased execution efficiency threefold and accelerated post-acquisition roadmaps within the first 100 days. Across the portfolio, this translated into measurable operational gains, including automated order processing from unstructured inputs, real-time field support through voice-enabled assistants, and scalable compliance systems that reduced manual interpretation and onboarding risk.
